The area

Jenkintown and Glenside are sort of in between Elkins Park and Abington.  Both areas are convenient to the Universities and lots of shopping.  Old York Rd and Easton Road are major roads through these towns.  Wyncote and Oreland are also areas that may come up if you search this area
